How we keep the lights on
Affiliate disclosure.
The short version: some of the links on LhasaLife earn us a small commission, at no cost to you. This page is the full explanation.
What this means in plain English
LhasaLife is a participant in the Amazon Associates Programme in the UK, and occasionally the Awin affiliate network. When we recommend a product and you click through one of our links, we may receive a small percentage of the sale from the retailer. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you click our link or go direct.
That commission helps cover hosting, tools, treats for Poppy, and the time that goes into writing honest, breed-specific advice.
How we choose what to recommend
Every product featured on LhasaLife is picked because we believe it belongs in a Lhasa Apso household. Recommendations are based on first-hand use, careful research, or direct experience with the brand.
We favour products that are available to buy in the UK from reputable retailers. If something is only sold in the US, or if we would not use it on Poppy, it does not make the list.
Commission never decides what we recommend. A higher payout rate does not move a product up the page, and we will happily recommend non-affiliate options when they are genuinely the best choice for Lhasa owners.
How affiliate links are marked
Articles that contain affiliate links carry a clearly visible note at the top, and individual affiliate links use the standard rel="sponsored nofollow" attribute that search engines and browsers recognise. Nothing is hidden.
Our Amazon Associates details
We trade under the Amazon UK Associates tracking ID brosto-21. As an Amazon Associate, LhasaLife earns from qualifying purchases. You will see this reflected in the tag=brosto-21 parameter on any Amazon link we publish.
