Life with a Lhasa Apso is never boring. It’s dramatic, opinionated, occasionally absurd, and always on Poppy’s terms.
Welcome to Poppy’s Tails — a series of first-person stories narrated by the world’s most self-important Lhasa Apso. Each tale covers the real, relatable, and ridiculous moments of dog ownership: the vet visits, the grooming wars, the sofa standoffs, and the elaborate negotiations over who gets which side of the bed.
If you’ve ever lived with a small dog who genuinely believes they run the house… you’re in the right place.
Meet your narrator
Poppy is a Lhasa Apso born on Christmas Eve 2015. She’s stubborn, dramatic, impossibly fluffy, and completely convinced the entire world revolves around her. To be fair, at LhasaLife, it sort of does.
These stories are told through Poppy’s eyes (and occasionally her very loud bark). They cover the stuff every dog owner knows too well: the suspicious bath preparations, the postman wars, the elaborate bed negotiations, and that look your dog gives you when you’ve clearly done something unforgivable — like moving their blanket two inches to the left.
