Terms of Sale

1. Who we are

This site, lhasalife.com, is operated by LhasaLife, based in the United Kingdom. If you need to contact us about an order or anything else, please email contact@lhasalife.com.

2. Who these terms are for

These Terms of Sale apply whenever you buy a physical product from our shop as a consumer (someone buying for personal use, not as a business). Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

3. Placing an order

When you place an order through the checkout, you are making an offer to buy. Your order is accepted only once we send you an order confirmation email. At that point a legally binding contract is formed between you and us.

If we cannot fulfil your order for any reason (for example, a product is out of stock or we spot a pricing error), we will let you know and refund any payment taken.

4. Price and payment

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include UK VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout before you pay.

We accept payment via the card methods displayed at checkout. Payment is taken at the point of order.

5. Delivery

We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom and, in some cases, internationally. Delivery timescales, costs, and any geographic restrictions are set out on our Delivery page.

Goods remain our responsibility until they are delivered to the address you provided. Once delivered, the goods are your responsibility.

6. Your right to cancel (14-day cooling-off period)

Full details of how to cancel, return an item, and receive a refund are on our Returns and Refunds page.

This right to cancel does not apply to goods that have been personalised or made to your specifications.

7. Faulty or incorrect items

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the goods we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If something arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, you have the right to reject it within 30 days of receipt for a full refund, or to ask for a repair or replacement.

If you believe there is a problem with your order, email contact@lhasalife.com with your order number and a photo of the issue. We will sort it out quickly.

8. Our products

We sell art prints produced from original watercolour paintings. We take care to show colours and sizes accurately, but small variations between the image on screen and the printed product can occur due to monitor settings, lighting, and the nature of printed pigments on paper. These variations are not a fault.

Frames and mounts are not included unless explicitly stated in the product description.

9. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

For all other losses, our liability is limited to the price you paid for the goods. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss.

10. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as postal strikes, severe weather, or courier disruption. If this happens, we will let you know and do our best to minimise any inconvenience.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one in force on the date you place your order.

12. Governing law

These Terms of Sale and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction, meaning that if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
